SMT machine production line has the advantage of component installation of high density, easy to realize automation, improve production efficiency, reduce the cost.

Pick and place machine production line is composed of three processes: solder paste printing, installation components and reflow oven. Among them, the installation of chip electronic components is an important part of the whole surface installation process. The issues involved are more complex than other processes, and the on-chip electronic component installation equipment is the largest investment in the entire equipment.

Chip mounter is actually a kind of precision industrial robot, it is the synthesis of machine photoelectricity and computer control technology. It can connect SMC/SMD parts to the designated welding position of PCB board quickly and accurately without damaging the components and PCB board through the functions of absorption replacement and positioning.

There are three types of component pairs: mechanical pairs, laser pairs, and visual pairs. The installation machine is composed of a frame, an X-Y motion mechanism (ball screw, linear guide rail, driving motor), an installation head, a component feeder, a PCB bearing device, a device to detect a device and a computer control system. The movement of the whole machine is mainly realized through the X-Y motion mechanism. Power is transmitted through the ball screw, and the direction movement is realized through the rolling linear track motion pair. This type of transmission not only has its own small movement resistance and compact structure. The higher motion accuracy ensures the positioning accuracy of each component effectively.

SMT mount machine identifies important parts, such as mounting spindles, removable static lenses, suction cups and feed. Machine vision can automatically find the coordinates of these marking center systems, establish the transformation relationship between the system coordinate system of the mounting machine and the PCB and mount component coordinate system, and calculate the precise coordinate system of the mounting machine movement. The mount head captures the sucker and absorbs the component based on input parameters such as the package type and component number of the mount element. The static lens detects, identifies and matches the absorbing elements according to the visual processing program; After the alignment is complete, the mounting head installs the component to a predetermined location on the PCB.
