1. Pressure Sensor
The pressure system of SMT assembly machines includes the working pressure of various cylinders and vacuum generator, these generators have certain requirements for air pressure, lower than the pressure specified by the equipment, the machine will not operate normally. Pressure sensor has been monitoring the pressure changes, once the machine is abnormal, will be timely alarm to remind the operator to deal with timely.
2. Negative pressure sensor
The suction nozzle on the chip head sucks up the components by negative pressure, which is composed of negative pressure generator and vacuum sensor. When the negative pressure is not enough, the components will not be able to absorb, the feeder does not have components or components are stuck in the feeder can not be absorbed, the suction nozzle will not be able to absorb the components, the emergence of these situations will affect the normal operation of the machine. Negative pressure sensor has been monitoring the change of negative pressure, when there is a situation that can not be sucked or can not be sucked components, it can alarm in time to remind the operator to replace the feeder in time or check the nozzle and the negative pressure hose whether it is clogged or not.
3. Position sensor
PCB transmission and positioning including PCB counting, real-time monitoring of the patch head and table, the movement of the auxiliary mechanism, etc., all have strict requirements on the position, these position requirements through various forms of position sensors to achieve.
SMT assembly machines in the placement process, the patch head are along the x-axis and y-axis direction of high-speed movement, in order to prevent the patch head to hit the machine's cantilever, in the X-axis and y-axis direction of the mounter were 2 limit sensors, patch head once reached the limit sensor, the machine will immediately stop running. 4. Image sensor
The real-time display of the working status of the mounter, mainly using CCD image sensor, which can collect a variety of required image signals, including the position of the PCB, the size of the components, and through computer analysis and processing, so that the patch head to complete the adjustment and patch work.
5. Laser sensor
Laser has now been widely used in the placement machine, it can help identify the device pin coplanarity. When the device under test runs into the monitoring position of the laser sensor, the light beam from the laser is irradiated to the IC pins and reflected back to the laser reader, if the reflected beam is the same as the emitted beam, the device is qualified for coplanarity. When not the same, the device due to pin deformation, so that the emission of light beam becomes longer, the laser sensor to identify the device pin defects. By the same token, the laser sensor can also recognize the height of the device, which can shorten the production preparation time.
6. Pick and place head pressure sensors
With the improvement of the speed and accuracy of the patch head, the intelligence of the patch head to put the components on the PCB is more and more demanding, which is usually called "z-axis soft landing" function, which is realized by the pressure sensor and the load characteristics of the servomotor. When the components are placed on the PCB will be vibrated, the vibration force can be transmitted to the control system in time, through the control system of the control system and then feedback to the patch head, so as to realize the z-axis soft landing function.
