Q1. What sensors does your new equipment use, and how do they help?

A. Critical sensors, including proximity sensors, air pressure sensors, limit sensors, position sensing linear encoders, and HD visual sensors for quality inspection, elevate operational performance by ensuring precise measurement, control, safety, and quality assurance throughout our manufacturing processes.

A. Better surface mount technology (SMT) equipment improves precision, speed, part compatibility, and soldering techniques, which results in higher quality, faster production, and more reliable electronics.

 

Q3. How have new SMT machines become more accurate, faster, and energy-efficient?

A. Recent advances in SMT pick-and-place machines and reflow ovens are transforming the industry. They feature better vision systems, faster processing, ingenious motion control, quicker cycles, and energy-efficient operations. Collectively, these improvements deliver higher accuracy, speed, and efficiency in placing smaller components, aligning perfectly with the trend towards miniaturisation.

How can a chip mounter specifically improve the accuracy of placement?

1. Vision Positioning System

Real-time detection and positioning of circuit boards and components. Through the image recognition technology, the mounter can accurately identify the characteristic points on the circuit board, so as to realize precise placement.

2. High-precision feeding devices

Ensure the stability and accuracy of components during handling and placement.

3. Dynamic correction technology

Some advanced mounter machines have dynamic correction capability, which can adjust the placement parameters in real time according to the actual situation of the circuit board (e.g. temperature, deformation, etc.) to improve the accuracy.

4. Optimized motion control system

High-performance motion control system (e.g. servo motor) can move the placement head quickly and accurately, so that the placement speed and accuracy are guaranteed.

5. Compatibility design of components and circuit boards

Reasonable design of components and circuit boards to ensure that there is enough space between the components on the circuit board to avoid cross-interference, which can effectively improve the success rate of placement.
