I believe the SMT placement loose material problem plagued many people, we will probably talk about the handling of loose material today.
As we all know, once the SMT machine is on, there will certainly be a problem in the SMT production line. For a variety of reasons resulting in a lot of loose material generated, throwing material, or was originally a loose material. Some loose material, such as resistors, capacitors and inductors, is not easily distinguishable and has little value in itself, so there is no value in reusing it. However, for large components, especially imported chip components, the value is high and they can be identified and distinguished, so they are generally reused.
Generally, if there is a small amount of material to be dropped, the operator can add it to the tape, but do not add too much at a time and pay attention to the direction.
How to handle loose material:
1. Collect a certain length of used tape,
2. Find a thin flat surface,
3. Use double-sided tape to attach the appropriate length of tape to the flat surface, taking care to ensure that the slots are aligned as far as possible, and that the loose material is fed into the tape.
4. Prepare a program to use the Tray tray and enter the homemade Tray information into the program.
5. Call the new program to produce, everything is OK.
6. Make a control table for the material to be thrown.
If there is a lot of loose material, you can collect some material tape and braid suitable for loose material packaging specifications, put the loose material into the material tape and then use double-sided tape to seal the braid. You can refer to the original packaging when placing the material. Buy an automatic bagging machine and use an LCR meter to measure the throwing material, usually pay more attention to the same type of throwing material collected at the same time. Each line of throwing material should also be separated, so that the operator two small clean up a throwing material and will be separated resistance / capacitance / inductance of the same capacity. Then use the automatic bagging machine to make a tape package!
We have to make a big effort to solve the problem of throwing rate. But those that have already been thrown must also be treated accordingly, as they are worth a lot of money over time. But there is one more point I think: for ordinary LCR parts, there is not much value in the manpower to differentiate and band them, because their value is relatively low. The focus should be on the main high-value, chip-based components.
In fact, by strengthening the management of incoming materials, incoming inspection in packaging and other areas, and by strengthening the maintenance of the picking part of the machine and the vacuum generation part, we can minimise the throwing of materials. The responsibility of online operators is required to be strong, the discard rate can be linked to the assessment, timely recovery and timely use, the resistance is lower than the discard rate, there is no need to spend too much energy.
