Pick and place machine is equivalent to an automated robot, all its movements are transmitted by sensors, and then the main brain will decide what to do next. NeoDen will share with you what are the main types of sensors of the patch machine.
I. Pressure transducer
SMT mounting machine, including a variety of cylinders and vacuum generators, have certain requirements on the air pressure, lower than the required pressure of the equipment, the machine can not operate normally, the pressure sensor has always monitored the pressure changes, once abnormal, that is, timely alarm, remind the operator to deal with in time.
II. Negative pressure sensor
SMT suction nozzle of pick and place machine relies on the negative pressure absorbing components, which is composed of a negative pressure generator (jet vacuum generator) and a vacuum sensor. If the negative pressure is not enough, the components will not be absorbed. When the feeder has no components or components stuck in the material bag and cannot be sucked up, the suction nozzle will suck less than the components, these conditions will affect the normal work of the SMT. The negative pressure sensor always monitors the negative pressure changes, and when the components can not be absorbed or absorbed, it can alarm in time to remind the operator to replace the feeder or check whether the negative pressure system of the suction nozzle is blocked.
III. The image sensor
CCD image sensor is mainly used to display the working state of the SMT in real time. It can collect all kinds of required image signals, including PCB position, device size, and through computer analysis and processing, so that the head of the SMT can complete the adjustment and SMT work.
IV. Position sensor
The transmission and positioning of the printed board, including the count of the PCB, the real-time detection of the head and the movement of the table, and the movement of the auxiliary mechanism, all have strict requirements on the position, and these positions need to be realized through various forms of position sensors.
