1. Porcelain dielectric container
The capacitor is made of ceramic material as medium, coated with a metal (silver) film on the ceramic surface, and then sintered at high temperature as an electrode. Porcelain dielectric container is divided into 1 type of dielectric (NPO, CCG), 2 types of dielectric (X7R, 2X1) and 3 types of dielectric (Y5V, 2F4) porcelain dielectric container.
Class 1 porcelain dielectric vessel has the advantages of small temperature coefficient, high stability, low loss and high voltage resistance. The maximum capacity is not more than 1 000 pF, commonly used CC1, CC2, CC18A, CC11, CCG and other series.

2, 3 types of ceramic dielectric vessels are characterized by high dielectric coefficient, large capacity (up to 0.47μF), small size, loss and insulation performance than class 1.

Class 1 capacitors are mainly used in high frequency circuits. Class 2 and class 3 are widely used in low and medium frequency circuits as capacitor for separation, coupling, bypass and filtering. Commonly used CT1, CT2, CT3 and other three series.

2. Polyester capacitors
Polyester capacitor, is made of polar polyester film as the medium with a positive temperature coefficient (that is, when the temperature rises, the capacitance becomes larger) of the non-polar capacitor.
Polyester capacitors are resistant to high temperature, high pressure, humidity and low price. It is generally used in medium and low frequency circuits. Commonly used models are CL11, CL21 and other series.

3. Polystyrene capacitors
This kind of capacitor has two types: foil type and metallized type.
The foil type insulation resistance is large, the medium loss is small, the capacity is stable, the precision is high, but the volume is large, the heat resistance is poor; The metallized type has better moisture resistance and stability than the foil type, and can self-heal after breakdown, but the insulation resistance is low and the high frequency characteristics are poor.

It is generally used in medium and high frequency circuits. The commonly used models are CB10, CB11 (non-sealed foil type), CB14~16 (precision type), CB24, CB25 (non-sealed type metallization), CB80 (high pressure type), CB40 (sealed type metallization) and other series.

4. polypropylene capacitor
The utility model relates to a negative temperature coefficient non-polar capacitor made of non-polar polypropylene film. There are two types of non-sealing (commonly used non-ferrous resin paint encapsulation) and sealing (with metal or plastic shell encapsulation). Small loss, stable performance, good insulation, large capacity.
It is generally used in medium and low frequency electronic circuits or as the starting capacitor of motors. Commonly used foil polypropylene capacitor: CBB10, CBB11, CBB60, CBB61, etc. Metallized polypropylene capacitors: CBB20, CBB21, CBB401 and other series.

5. Monolithic capacitor

Monolithic capacitor is made of barium titanate ceramic material, which is made of multi-layer superminiature capacitor.
It has the advantages of reliable performance, high temperature resistance, humidity resistance, large capacity (capacity range of 1pF ~ 1μF), small leakage current and so on. The disadvantage is that the working voltage is low (withstand voltage less than 100 V).
Widely used in resonance, bypass, coupling, filtering, etc. Commonly used CT4 (low frequency), CT42 (low frequency); CC4 (high frequency), CC42 (high frequency) series.

6. Mica capacitor
Mica capacitor uses mica as the medium, spraying a layer of metal film (silver) on the surface of mica as the electrode, laminating according to the required capacity, dipping and pressing plastic in the bakelite shell (or ceramic, plastic shell) to form.
Good stability, small distribution inductance, high precision, small loss, large insulation resistance, good temperature characteristics and frequency characteristics, high working voltage (50 V~7 kV), etc.
It is generally used for signal coupling, bypass and tuning in high frequency circuits. Commonly used are CY, CYZ, CYRX and other series.

7. Paper capacitor
Paper capacitor is made of thin special paper for capacitor as medium, aluminum foil or lead foil as electrode, which is formed by rolling, impregnated and encapsulated. Large capacitance (100 pF~100 μF) wide operating voltage range, the highest voltage withstand value up to 6.3 kV.
Large volume, low capacity accuracy, large loss, poor stability. Common CZ11, CZ30, CZ31, CZ32, CZ40, CZ80 and other series.

8. Metallized paper capacitor
Metallized paper capacitor is made by vacuum evaporation technology, and a layer of metal film is evaporated on paper coated with paint film as the electrode.
Compared with ordinary paper capacitor, it has small size, large capacity and strong self-healing ability after breakdown.

9. Aluminum electrolytic capacitors
Polar aluminum electrolytic capacitors are made of aluminum foil (positive electrode) with oxide film and liner paper soaked in electrolyte, and cathode (negative electrode) foil laminated together and wound. The outer package is tubular and vertical. And there is a blue or black plastic sleeve outside the aluminum shell.
