In SMT production, the equipment in different links plays different roles. Among them, the automatic optical detection equipment SMT AOI is scanned by optical method to read the images of devices and solder feet through the CCD camera, and to detect the solder paste, solder joints and electronic components on the PCBA board through the logical algorithm or image comparison method, so as to find out whether there is deviation, missing installation, short circuit and other defects of the equipment.
I. Significance of AOI equipment in SMT production:
Due to our subjectivity in the process of manual inspection, the results are biased. Therefore, we will introduce AOI equipment in the electronic production process to carry out a comprehensive PCBA board inspection, but also improve the production efficiency and through-rate. Especially for high density and complex surface mount PCB, it is neither reliable nor economical to rely on manual visual inspection.
