PCBA processing first piece detection is a kind of error prevention mechanism to prevent batch PCBA accidents, which is to check, confirm and test the first product. The first piece inspection is to find the problems affecting product quality in the production process as soon as possible, and prevent batch defects or scrapping. Only after all the tests of the first piece are passed, can the mass production begin, which can reduce the risk of wrong pieces, reduce the probability of error, and effectively improve the production quality.

Purpose of the first test

1. The first piece inspection in the production process is mainly to prevent the products from being out of order, repaired and scrapped in batches. It is a means of controlling the production of products in advance, an important method of product process quality control, and an effective and essential method for enterprises to ensure product quality and improve economic benefits.

4. Long-term practical experience shows that the first inspection system is an effective measure to find problems as soon as possible and prevent products from being scrapped in batches. Through first-piece inspection, systematic causes such as severe wear and tear of fixture or incorrect installation and positioning, poor accuracy of measuring instruments, misreading of drawings, feeding or formulation errors can be found, and corrective or improvement actions can be taken to prevent batch nonconforming products.


Mechanism of PCBA machining first Part Detection

1. Self-inspection: Engineers conduct self-inspection on the first product they produce, mainly led by field engineers. Engineers can conduct self-inspection according to the data confirmed above, and focus on the direction of components and the effect of the patch.

2. Mutual inspection: the engineer shall conduct mutual inspection to the operator after inspection, focusing on checking BOM and drawing, and notifying the production engineer immediately if any objection is found.

3. Full inspection: after passing the quality inspection personnel full inspection, generally use multimeter or ECR bridge, large-scale factories basically use bridge, focus on components measurement value, components direction. If BGA devices are present, X-ray machine testing is required to determine the welding effect of internal tin balls. Inspect products according to customer original BOM, special processing requirements, samples, etc., confirm whether the first part of production meets customer requirements, judge whether the products meet the requirements of production technical documents, and evaluate whether the production conditions and process parameters can mass produce qualified products. PCBA samples that pass the "three tests" are reserved until the end of batch production.

4. The basis of the triple inspection system is the first piece. The comparison standard of the first piece is the sample and guidance document agreed in advance between the factory and the customer. The correctness of samples includes the correctness of materials and welding. Consistency between customer guidance documents and samples, documents are preferred, in the absence of documents, samples prevail.
