1. China's SMT industry is still mainly concentrated in the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta region, these two regions accounted for more than 90% of the total industrial sales revenue, of which only the Pearl River Delta region accounted for 67.5% of the overall weight. In addition Bohai Rim SMT industry sales reached 3.1 billion yuan, accounting for 7.6% of the overall industry.
2. From the industry's own development cycle point of view, although China's SMT industry is still in its infancy, but has shown a vigorous vitality. At the same time, SMT industry is an important basic industry, which is of great significance to promote the structural adjustment and industrial upgrading of China's electronic information industry. To promote the rapid and healthy development of China's SMT industry requires all aspects of the upstream and downstream industries to work together.
3. For the government, we suggest two things. First, increase support for the SMT industry, in particular, to strengthen basic materials and precision instruments and other fields of basic research input. Second, as an important market regulator, the government should strengthen the protection of intellectual property and actively guide the formulation of China's SMT industry standards, and actively promote and implement it.
