Throwing Components Problem During SMT Placement Work

The main reasons and measures for throwing electronic components while users in operation with SMT Pick And Place Machines:

Reason 1: The nozzle problem, the nozzle deformation, blockage, damage caused by insufficient air pressure, air leakage, resulting in suction, the material is not correct, the identification is passed and the material is thrown. Countermeasures: clean and replace the nozzle;

Reason 2: Identify system problems, poor vision, visual or laser lens is not clean, there is debris interference recognition, improper selection of light source and intensity, insufficient gray scale, and possible identification system is broken. Countermeasures: Clean the surface of the wipe identification system, keep it clean and free of debris, adjust the intensity and gray level of the light source, and replace the parts of the identification system;

Reason 3: Position problem, the material is not in the center of the material, the height of the material is not correct (generally, the pressure is 0.05MM after touching the part), which causes the deviation, the material is not correct, there is offset, and the identification is corresponding. The data parameters do not match and the identified system discards as invalid material. Countermeasure: adjust the reclaiming position;

Reason 4: The vacuum problem, the air pressure is insufficient, the vacuum air pipe passage is not smooth, the guide blockages the vacuum passage, or the vacuum leaks and the air pressure is insufficient, and the material cannot be taken or picked up and then dropped on the way of the sticker. Countermeasure: adjust the pressure and steep slope to the required pressure value of the equipment (such as 0.5~~0.6Mpa--YAMAHA placement machine), clean the air pressure pipeline, and repair the leaking gas path;

Reason 5: The program problem, the component parameters in the edited program are set incorrectly, and the parameters such as the physical size and brightness of the incoming material do not match the identification and are discarded. Countermeasure: modify the component parameters and search for the best parameter settings of the component;

Reason 6: The problem of incoming materials is irregular, and it is a defective product such as pin oxidation. Countermeasure: IQC does a good job in incoming inspection and contacts the component supplier;

Reason 7: Feeder problem, feeder position is deformed, feeder feed is poor (feeder ratchet gear is damaged, the material belt hole is not stuck on the ratchet gear of the feeder, there is foreign matter under the feeder, spring Aging, or poor electrical), causing material to be picked up or poorly picked, and the feeder is damaged. Countermeasure: adjust the feeder, clean the feeder platform, replace the bad parts or feeders; When there is a throwing phenomenon to be solved, you can first ask the field personnel, through the description, and then directly find the problem according to the observation and analysis, so More effective in identifying problems, solving them, and improving production efficiency, but taking up more machine production time.
